Welcome!! I am so excited you are here! My name is Allie Joseph and invite you to Najla’s Dance and Hip Love Studio nestled downtown Chillicothe, Ohio inside the Foulke Block.
I had a dream and that dream happened with the creation of Najlas Dance in 2008!
Helping is my passion of all ages 4 to adult, sizes, backgrounds. This gives everyone the opportunity to connect and feel empowered, while having fun!
My goal: to create a warm, safe and inviting space right here in Chillicothe Ohio, Hip Love Studio (healing in physical love through movement and dance) always come from the heart!
Growing up, I always wanted to be a dancer but was told I would never have what it takes due to my build and very quiet nature. I settled with gymnastics, but it did not fill the void or my desire to dance and move!
In my early 20’s I became a certified fitness instructor and taught at the local YMCA that started my extensive fitness journey.
It was not until very late in life I found Bellydance and fell in love! Over the years I trained in Egyptian Cabaret 2000-2014. In 2010 my dance world changed when I was introduced to Paulette Rees-Denis and Global Caravan Tribal Bellydance!
Belly Dance is liberating & Empowering acceptable for kids to adult. It’s about feeling good in the body, moving in a feminine and free way.
I am passionate about what I do! Helping others to be themselves. To let go and to move their body! To empower. To dream. To inspire.
Certifications:
Global Caravan Teacher 1-4, Tribal Groooves Teacher & Master Teacher, Global Caravan Master Teacher Level 1/2, Global Caravan Principal Teacher Level 1/2, member of Global Caravan International Troupe.
She is also certified in Yoga Shred inspired and certified in beginners ballroom, has a huge fitness background from her early fitness days. Learning is power! I absolutely love giving out my knowledge and love to my students so they can be there best!
Currently we offer: beginning Bellydance, Tribal Grooves Fitness, Yoga, Ballet Fitness Fusion and Creative dance for kids!
