Dance Of Eternity (Intermediate) Note to students remember these moves have a purpose and need to be done slow with expression and movement. Each movement needs to be felt as we are telling a story.

  • Pharonic Walk 8 cts circling wrists
  • hip bump look right arms crossed behind lower back bump 1,2,3
  • hip bump look left, bump 1,2,3 repeat again on right and left
  • bring arms overhead with hand waves while doing figure 8′s 8x
  • keep left hand above head but turn palm so facing to right right arm extended out palm facing down 4 side walking medium hip circles r then large hip circle(Slow)
  • 4 side walking medium hip circles to left 1 large hip circle
  • Shoulder thrust r,l,r
  • piston r,l r (repeat)

Group 1

 

  • camel walk first group move forward second
    group move back 8cts
  • first group chest circles with snake arms to
    the right 4 ct

    undulations down 4 cts
  • floor work mayas 4 cts
  • small hip circles back/coming back up 8cts
  • chest lift up/down/chest slide r/l repeat
    left side
  • chest lift/drop tuck drop
  • work to the side then to the back going down
    into a back bend coming up
  • coming up with snake arms when standing
    ribbons with snake arms
  • folkloric fan to the front half turn then
    back around full turn

Group 2

  • Camel walk back 8 cts
  • Maya’s with snake arms 4 cts
  • Move forward behind group 1 camel walk 8 cts
  • Pose behind group 1 person on the right
    right arm up left arm extended down with wrist circles
  • Person on the left opposite
  • Ribbons 8 cts bringing arms up cross wrists
  • Keeping arms above head chest lift up/down
    /chest slide r/l repeat left
  • Chest up down pelvic tuck/drop piston r2 l2
  • Mayas in a circle look over shoulder wrist circles one arm above head repeat other side while 1st group doing
    floor work
  • Mayas circle back to front while 1st
    group is coming up’
  • Ribbons with snake arms
  • Folk loric fan back half turn then back all
    around to front
